Description:
How long does it take to prepare a Hunan-style breakfast?
For my photo story, I chose a traditional Chinese breakfast stand from preparation to the start of the day’s business. I used Adobe Express for typesetting to try to organize it into a complete story.
I composed a complete story through the linear arrangement of photos. This included using a fixed camera position to record the change of environment from dark to light. Meanwhile giving some close-ups of the breakfast store owner to record his workflow. One of the main characters in the photo story is the owner of the breakfast restaurant, and the details of his work and actions are recorded. I think this set of photo stories tells a complete fragment, which is what I am satisfied with.
“‘When you wake up in the morning, Pooh,’ said Piglet at last, ‘what’s the first thing you say to yourself?’ ‘What’s for breakfast?’ said Pooh.”
‒ A. A. Milne, ‘Winnie The Pooh’.
